Q: How can I soothe my baby's pain during teething?
My son is teething and will not stop crying. I have tried giving him some Motrin, but it doesn't always help. I have heard about putting some rum on the gums, but am nervous to give my child alcohol. Any suggestions to ease his pain?
We used either Hyland's Teething Tablets or Motrin depending on how painful the teething seemed to be. Both worked really well but the Motrin did a better job if it was a really rough night.

Teething tablets work amazing!!! I tried one myself and could not tell why they work, they seem to have no numbing effect at all, and yet, they worked amazingly well on both of my children.
